LOG-X is a startup that aims to proffer solutions to the problem of untimely delivery often encountered in the logistic industry. Feasible solutions that are being employed include:
Decentralization: it is a norm that once packages are to be sent by a ‘sender, he/she needs the services of logistics companies to deliver such products/ packages. As a result, time is being wasted because the sender has to wait till a representative from the logistics company gets to the sender’s location before accepting the package for delivery. Detrimental cost is being incurred by the sender especially if the sender needs the product delivered urgently and the logistics company is located far away from the sender. By ‘decentralization’ This detrimental cost of waiting for a long time by the sender is gotten rid of if someone nearby (possibly even your neighbor) can act as delivery personnel. By logging on to the Log-x application, the sender could switch on his/ her location and find people around to act as delivery personnel.

Time-bound inclusion: The problem of untimely delivery in the logistics industry today is a result of no accountability of logistics companies to be bound by time. With the Log-x application, once a transaction is being initiated by both the sender and the delivery personnel, a time count-down begins. Failure to meet up with the time shall necessitate the deduction of a penalty fee of 10% of his/her service fee which shall be subsequently refunded to the senders account.
